South Carolina Tint Laws

While we will install any % film at our customers request, it is important to be aware of your state Tint laws.

 

South Carolina tint law states the following:

 

Front and back side windows (Sedan)

The tint must allow at least 27% of visible light transmission (VLT). This means that 27% of light must be able to pass through.

 

Rear window (Sedan)

The tint must allow at least 27% of VLT.

 


Front side windows (Truck / SUV) 

Must allow at least 27% of light to pass through.

 


Rear window and back side windows (Truck / SUV)

Can be any tint darkness.
